Shashaname Projects

Sponsor the Education of Children!

Thank you for your interest in sponsoring a child at the JRDC Shashamane School Project. We have developed this sponsorship program to help the children in the Shoa District (now Oromo State) in Ethiopia gain access to education and have hope in a prosperous future.

The school services not only the children of the Jamaican Rastafarian Community in Shashamane, but local children as well. A recent survey showed that 70% of the children currently attending the school are native Ethiopian.

Upon receipt of the contribution, we will provide you with the name, age, and contact details for the individual child you are sponsoring. Contribute online or send cheque/money order payable to the Shashamane Settlement Community Development Foundation, Inc., USA. - 5782 Second Street, NE, Washington, DC 20011. (If there is lack of space to spell out the full name on cheques/money order, The Shashamane Foundation Inc.,USA, is an acceptable abbreviated entry)

Thank you for your kind support.

 Sincerely,

Karl Phillpotts
President
